THE NAME
The “Flower Fish” name is derived from a play on the name of the artist, Jasmine Dace. “Jasmine” or Jasminum being the name of a fragrant flower of the Olive family, and “Dace” being a freshwater fish of the Cyprinidae family.
THE ARTIST
Jasmine Dace was born in Surrey, England in 1994. With a recognisable talent for the arts and a keen eye for detail, from a young school age she was continuously encouraged to explore her gifts. She is currently living independently in Surrey while studying her Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Illustration at The University for the Creative Arts.
